The whole universe, all the way down to the tiniest cells, is comprised of these elements. There is nothing living or inanimate that is not made from a combination of ether, air, fire, water, and earth. Some of us might have predominantly Pitta energy, and tend to get irritable and have digestive issues. Others might have predominantly Vata or Kapha energy and experience issues related to those types. Any imbalance you have will eventually lead to some sort of ailment appearing in your body.

Though the act of assigning a basic constitutional quality to each individual is a fundamental aspect of living the Ayurveda way.  This knowledge and direction below is focused on teaching you how to use the principles of the doshas to resolve ailments and diseases that you have come to know as only treatable through pills and other modern, temporary methods. The intention of this practical healing knowledge is to use this as an introduction to an entirely different system of health by implementing the treatment of an assortment of ailments and symptoms from inside out. In this way you may begin to understand and modify your lifestyle habits that are not beneficial to your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. And at the same time understand how to heal yourself naturally by allowing your body to heal itself while your mind supports this healing process by keeping balanced habits and thinking.
