Yogi Cameron: Hi everyone, I'm Yogi Cameron.

Yogini Jaima: And I'm Yogini Jaima.

Yogi Cameron: And this is Inspire Living. Now we wanna take you through a really important topic, which is archetypes.

Yogini Jaima: Hm.

Yogi Cameron: What is an archetype? We wanna take you through that, because you're going to find it as fascinating as we do, because behind the archetype is who you truly are.

Yogini Jaima: Hm.

Yogi Cameron: You know.

Yogini Jaima: It's true though. Archetypes, archetypes identify powerful patterns within our consciousness, within our mind and these patterns are responsible for our personality, our character, they make up our likes, our dislikes, they cause us to react and respond in certain ways, they make us be attracted to certain things and people and have aversions to other things and people.

Now in the yogic culture and in Ayurvedic sciences, we refer to these impressions within the mind as Samskaras, Samskara means impression within the mind and how do we receive these impressions? They're received through the senses, so everything that we see, hear, taste, touch and feel is leaving an impression in the mind, 24/7 by the way, whether we know it or not, it's being recorded, that's why these impressions are unconscious in nature, because we don't always know that they're happening.

Now we also receive impressions through our interactions in life, through our relationships, all of it, the good, the bad and the ugly is leaving an impression and making you do things differently moving forward, if you've had good experiences, if you've had bad experiences, we get impressions from our family right from the beginning, from our mother, from our father, from our siblings, there are cultural impressions, there are environmental impressions, there are religious impressions, all of it makes up who you are, your character.

Then there are the impressions that we receive, the Samskaras that are transferred within the womb, the moment our spine is developed, we become a replica of our mother's Samskaras, at that moment, we receive all of everything, all those impressions, her fears, her phobias, her likes, her dislikes, all of it and she received it from her mother's womb and her mother from her mother and so on and so on, it goes back to the beginning of our ancestry, that's why these impressions, these inherent Samskaras are so powerful, because they're so deeply wedged into out consciousness. Now, when you can identify with an archetype, you can identify the major patterns that are predominant within your consciousness, you can identify the inner programming, that is conditioning your personality to respond a certain way, so you get such a deep understanding in totality of who you are and why you are that way.

Yogi Cameron: Hm. Now, why is this important to you? It really is important, because when you understand your archetype, you know how you think and when you know how you think, what happens? You know how you act and then how you know you act is how you react, so it's all a chain going down the line and how you react to the world shows you why you're in the same situation as you always have been, why?

Because you're not changing that archetype and understanding this is the way I am, this is the way I was built, this is how I was born into this world and you're not using your archetype to your advantage, you're just using it to try to understand very surface orientated things. Here we wanna go to the root cause and say, here I am, world, this is who I am and match ourselves with situations and people, that really fit in with us and of course we get on with the whole world, but we're not in relationships, that are sort of not balanced, because we're trying to fit a round peg into a square hole, so to speak, so that's why it's so important to you.

Yogini Jaima: Well, it benefits in any way, you know, it can bring such harmony, when you understand the root of why you do things a certain way and why you react a certain way to things, it takes up so much confusion, the confusion leaves, there's an understanding and then a lot of the conflicts, that we have because of our major differences, they kind of get taken away as well, 'cause you understand, oh, that person's of that archetype and I'm of this archetype, so you can actually learn to speak each other's language and understand each other more deeply and also meet each other's needs, if you're in a relationship.

Yogi Cameron: Exactly, you're not focusing on the conflicts, you're focusing on the solutions and how to move passed the conflicts. Now that you have this deep insight, look out for the next piece we're going to do, because we're going to introduce you to the Alphabet Archetype system, which is going to show you which archetype you are and this is going to be a fun time, because you're going to identify yourself and then you're going to have that piece of mind saying oh, this is who I am, the world does understand me, it's not against me and now I can move forward knowing how to fit in and have the best relationships possible. So look out for that, namaste,

Yogini Jaima: Namaste.

Yogi Cameron: And we'll see you soon.
