Yogi Cameron: Have you been taking the Dosha and the Guna Quiz lately?
Now, what is that?
That's a mind-body quiz that we have on the site where it tells you what's going on inside your body and your mind. Now you're running around, you're taking planes and trains, and you're taking cabs, and you're going work, and you're in all these different environments.
What's happening inside of you? You don't always know because you're not aware of it. The quiz is a nice way of checking in where you see, oh, this element or these elements are out of balance and this is what I can do about it. So here's a practice or here's a tool and here's a herb that I can drink, and suddenly you're back into balance. And what it does is it keeps you in check so you don't get too far out of balance. It brings you back in that normal range of imbalance because we keep moving in and out of balance.
We're not always in balance itself. But we can deal with a little bit of imbalance. You know, we've had a coffee, we've had a cake or something, suddenly there's a little imbalance. But it's not all the way here where we have to recover. And the quiz does that for you. And especially you can have fun with it. Take it after you've had a manic day and really be truthful with it, because you have to be truthful taking this quiz.
A lot of people take it and then they say, "well, the results didn't come back as I feel." That's because you've got to fill it out. You've got to answer those questions very truthfully. And they're laid out in a way that one is about the body, so that's the Dosha quiz, and then the Guna, gunas are the elements in the mind, that's a separate quiz.
It's very quick, takes you a few minutes, but it really gives you an understanding of how the elements are moving so you can do something about it and quickly get back into balance without getting too far ahead of yourself and then getting exhausted, or getting digestive problems. Because the longer you leave that ailment, it will become a disease at some point.
So we want to catch imbalances at the right stage so they don't become an ailment and they don't become a disease. And this is what the test is, the quiz is really good for. So have fun with it. And then take it once a week and see how you're shifting back into balance and what you can do to become the most balanced human being you know.
