HOW ARE YOU COMPLICATING YOUR LIFE

- Hi you guys, it's Yogi Cameron here, and this is Inspire Living.

Now, how are you complicating your life even more than it is? Now, most people's life are complicated, but adding on the extras tends to take it to the limit, and then the imbalance start.

First look at your life. How complicated is my life?

From the morning when I get up to the night time when I go to sleep, what am I doing? How complicated are things? And then see, are some days complicated and other days are not? That way, you can start to see, is your life actually really complicated, or is it just a thought that it's complicated?

Those are two different things. So identifying first, honestly, what's going on. The second step is, am I making life more complicated, through my approach? That means, am I getting dramatic about stuff? Am I putting way too much attention into things that don't matter?

So once you've got the groundwork there, worked out, then you can see, is my life truly complicated, and if it is, why? The next step is looking at it from a physical standpoint of view, how much am I taking on physically? Am I at the gym, then doing yoga, running around, eating quite a bit, what am I physically doing? How am I complicating my life physically?

Then the mind, how much am I taking in, into the mind, what am I watching on TV, what's on the computer, social media, my phone, conversations, dinners, all of that, work, at work, how much am I speaking? So how much are the senses taking in?

And now I can look overall and see, what am I doing with my body, how much is my mind taking in, and is my life complicated? And what you'll probably see is, it's a mixture of two things. You're complicating things by your approach, and also, many complicated things are coming to you because of your approach.

So if your life is simplified, which is what everybody wants, it means somewhat, you've got to dial down how much you take on physically, and then also, through the five senses, watch how much you're watching things and touching things and tasting things and all of that. And you'll see, once you do a little bit less here and a little bit less here, suddenly, balance happens much quicker.

Often what people say is, "That's really boring." So that's part of your approach. A lot of people find, if there's not a hustle and bustle, life is kinda boring, so that's a whole different thing, you've gotta look at that and see, what is my approach and what is my idea of balance, to know whether my life is complicated or not?

Because you might find that your life is not as complicated as you thought, which is a relief, great, continue, go. And you might find that your approach to life is making things complicated, attracting more complicated people.

For that, you've gotta change your thinking, and that's where you get into yogic philosophy and practices and you change things up, but there is an answer to this, you just gotta come to the understanding of what it is first, and then do the practices.
